The students who want to pursue Odia Honors or M.A. Odia can apply under this program. The applicant who wants to pursue honors should have 70 percent marks in the latest given examination. The student who wants to pursue an M.A. Odia should at least have 60 percent in his previous given examination. There is no income limit for applying under this program.

- The students who are at UG level have to have the minimum percentage of 70 percent marks in the class 12th examination which was conducted by CHSE, Odisha, or any equivalent board, and are enrolled in +3 Arts with Odia as the Honours/core/Major subject in any of the universities is eligible.
- The students who are at PG level have to have 60 percent marks in Odia Honours/core/major during their +3 Arts course and have taken admission in M.A. Odia courses in any of the universities are eligible.
- The students who are taking benefits from other Scholarships are also eligible for taking benefits from this Scholarship.
