Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying to this program are given below:-

  • The applicant should be a citizen of Tunisia.
  • The applicant should be currently residing in Tunisia
  • The applicant should be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate, university/institute student in good academic standing at the time of application at a registered academic institution in Tunisia; 
  • The applicants should be in their second year of undergraduate education or above. Students who are in their first or final year of study at the time of application are not eligible to apply.
  • Architecture students are eligible in their second, third, fourth, or fifth year of study.
  • Engineering students are eligible in their second year (preparatory classes) and third and fourth year of undergraduate study.
  • The applicant should be able to receive a U.S. J-1 visa; 
  • The applicant should be at least 18 years old by July 1, 2025.

  • A completed application form.
  • Two completed reference forms from individuals who can speak to your suitability for the scholarship.
  • A copy of your academic transcript.
  • An essay of 500–1000 words.
  • Documentation of volunteer hours and contact information for the organization.

Financial Benefits

Under this scholarship program, the students will receive up to $25,000 per year in tuition remission and a $2,600 annual stipend. Recipients must also work 14 hours per week for the university.
