Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying under this program is given below:-

Possess citizenship in or have received refugee status from a Commonwealth nation that qualifies.
Be a permanent resident of a Commonwealth nation that qualifies.
Be prepared to begin studying in the UK by September 2025, when the UK academic year begins.
A minimum of an upper second-class (2:1) honours degree or a lower second-class degree plus an appropriate postgraduate diploma (often a Master’s degree) must be held by September 2025.
Not having worked or studied in a high-income nation for more than one (academic) year need this scholarship in order to be able to afford to study in the UK.
Have supplied all necessary supporting documentation in the format specified.

Financial Assistance

The CSC will not cover the cost of dependents’ flights or the cost of travel before the award is confirmed, but it will cover approved airfare from the Scholar’s home country to the UK and back at the conclusion of the award.
The complete cost of tuition is paid by the agreement between the CSC and the UK university, and scholars are not responsible for paying any portion of it.
The university pays and finances the stipend (living allowance), which is £1,378 per month for students attending universities in the London metropolitan area or £1,690 per month for those attending institutions in the London metropolitan area (based on current rates).
Where appropriate, a warm clothing allowance is provided by the university.
The CSC provides funding for a thesis grant, which is applied to the expense of producing a thesis or dissertation, if applicable.
The CSC funds a study travel grant that the university uses to help cover the expense of study-related travel within the UK or abroad.
Contribution to the cost of a needed tuberculosis (TB) test, which is covered by the CSC and paid for by the university when it is necessary for a visa application (receipts must be provided).
If a scholar is widowed, divorced, or a single parent and has children, they are eligible to receive child allowance of £590 per month for the first kid and £146 per month for the second and third children under the age of sixteen, provided that the children reside at the same location in the UK.

A copy of a current passport (or national ID card) with a photo, birth date, and citizenship country on it serves as proof that the person is a citizen or has refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth nation.
Complete transcripts of any degrees earned, including current transcripts for any courses taken, together with certified translations in English if not. The application will be deemed ineligible if any transcripts are missing or do not contain all pages.
