The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is awarded to exceptional students from non-EU/EER nations who are enrolled in the University of Twente’s graduate program (MSc). The students have the opportunity to rise to the top of the UT student rankings. The students will have the exclusive chance to participate in an intake for one of the three honors programs: Change Leaders, Design Honors, or Research Honors. The students will receive approximately £3000-£22000 for one year. The scheme will at least provide scholarships to 50 students. Objective of University of Twente Scholarship
The goal of the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is to lower students’ financial obstacles and motivate them to continue their education. The program will encourage students so that they can use the scholarship to help cover the expense of their higher education. The purpose of the award is to encourage students to seek further education.One of three honours programs is available to recipients of the scholarship: Leaders in Research, Design, or Change Global prospects options to work in research labs, experience Dutch culture, and pursue global career options are all made possible by the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for applying under this program is given below:-
- Applying for a UT scholarship is a different process from applying to the University of Twente for a course.
- You must first obtain an academic admission letter regardless of funding.
- One of the qualifying UT Master programs has accepted you (provisionally) for the September 2025–2026 academic year.
- Please be aware that it could take up to eight weeks after submitting your application for results.
- You need to have a student ID.
- You have not completed a UT (under)graduate degree; you meet the requirements for a Dutch admission visa, if any; you meet the requirements for the Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an extra 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) general English language test.
Financial Assistance
The applicants will receive financial assistance between €3,000 and €22,000 for a year (around 50 scholarships are offered). Please read the information on two-year study programs.

Selection Process
The applicants will be selected under this program by the below given procedure:-
- The applicant should clear all the eligibility criteria for getting selected under this program.
- The applicant should be domiciled in the given country list provided by the University.
Application process
You must first apply for a Master’s program. You can use your student number to apply for the scholarship after submitting an application for a Master’s program and receiving a (conditional) admission letter. Dutch and/or existing UT students cannot access UTS. Students from the EU and EEA are not eligible to take the UTS. The Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) does not offer the UTS for Master’s programs. The pre-Master program does not have access to the UTS.
