Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying to this program are given below:-

  • Only the female candidates from the selected 10 countries are eligible to apply under this program.
  • The degree you want to pursue should be offered by the University.
  • The applicant needs to follow the steps of University admissions and be admitted to one of the eligible master’s programmes on the day of the admissions announcement.
  • If the candidate has already benefitted from the SI scholarship or has a university degree in Sweden can not apply under this program.

Required Documents

University Admissions and the Swedish Institute are two different government departments. If you have any queries about the documentation needed for your application, you should speak with University Admissions or the university itself. Your application can be considered late and you won’t be eligible for a SI scholarship if you don’t send in the necessary paperwork to University Admissions on time. To be eligible for a SI scholarship, candidates must be accepted into an appropriate master’s program by March 27, 2025.
