The Qatar Airways University Scholarship Program offers academic and financial assistance to Qatari nationals (and children of Qatari mothers) enrolled in recognized universities so they can transfer their scholarships to undergraduate programs (Bachelor’s degrees) both inside and outside the State of Qatar. The scholarship, which is entirely supported by Qatar Airways, pays for living expenses, health insurance, tuition, monthly stipend, and travel expenses to the country of study. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying under this program is given below:-

The applicant should be the Qatari National (fir the students mother has to be a Qatari National)
The applicant should have a good reputation and conduct.
The applicant has to be medically fit and should pass all the prescribed medical examinations.
The applicant has to be below the age of 24 at the time of application.
In the US system or its equivalent, the cumulative GPA must be at least 2.8, and in the UK system or its equivalent, it must be at least 55%.
The major and minor fields of study must be listed on the list of study majors accepted by Qatar Airways.
The study university must be located in a nation that Qatar Airways accepts and be accredited by the Qatar Ministry of Education.
Submitting a letter of preapproval from the Qatar Ministry of Education for study abroad at the specified university and major is necessary if the university is located outside the State of Qatar.
At the time of submitting his or her application, the student must be enrolled in classes at the specified university continuously and without interruption.
A declaration by the Qatar National Service Academy attesting to the completion, exemption, or deferral of the Qatar National Service for male Qatari nationals.
No other organization or business may sponsor it at this time.
Must not be employed or working for another organisation at the moment.
Must not have previously worked for Qatar Airways or had a scholarship revoked or terminated for academic or disciplinary reasons.

Financial Assistance

The scholarship is fully funded by Qatar Airways and covers the tuition fees, the monthly stipend, the cost of living, health insurance, and the cost of travel to the country of study.

The documents required for registering under this program are given below:-

Copy (coloured) of Student’s valid passport.
Copy (coloured) of Student’s valid Qatar ID card (both sides).
Copy (coloured) of Student’s recent passport-sized photo.
Copy (coloured) of Guarantor’s valid passport.
Copy (coloured) of Guarantor’s valid Qatar ID card (both sides).
A copy of the Ministry of Education’s preapproval letter allowing the student to study abroad at the designated university and major must be submitted if the student is not a citizen of the State of Qatar.
A copy of the student’s current university’s original unconditional acceptance letter, which was given at the beginning of their enrolment and includes the original course and subject lists, study schedule, start and end dates, and course fees.
A copy of the most recent official university transcripts, which include all credit hours, individual and total grades, and all disciplines and modules.
A copy of the Qatar National Service certificate of completion, delay, or exemption is required for male students.
A letter stating that the student Is not eligible for a scholarship from the Ministry of Education in Qatar, addressed to whosoever it may concern.
The Qatar Ministry of Labor’s “To Whom It May Concern” letter requesting documentation of the student’s unemployment.

Selection Process

Ist stage:- initial shortlisted candidates

If the student is selected for a personal interview with the Qatar Airways selection panel after submitting all necessary data and documents (and having them reviewed by the airline), they will be informed to attend the interview. They may also be asked to submit any missing, updated, or necessary documents, as well as take any necessary tests.

2^nd Stage:- selected candidates

The student will receive written notification if they are chosen, and they will need to:

Obtain from the Ministry of Interior in Qatar a Police Clearance Certificate (CID Clearance).
Complete and pass the necessary medical examinations.
Present the Guarantor’s most recent pay certificate, pension pay certificate (within the last three months), or legitimate business firm register that the Guarantor owns.
Present the student’s proof of IBAN number from their local bank in Qatar.
Sign the scholarship agreement with Qatar Airways with his or her guarantor.
