The three funding categories are designed to assist beneficiaries in paying for their college education. The maximum prize for Tier 1 awardees is $100,000. $10,000 or $20,000 is given to Tier 2 recipients, while $5,000 is given to Tier 3 recipients. The selection of recipients is based on their financial need, personal statement, community service, and academic performance. The largest program dedicated to providing financial aid to Hispanic/Latino students is HACER. Eligibility Criteria

  • You are a senior in high school. 
  • A lawful U.S. resident, citizen, or DREAMER/DACA recipient is required.
  • You are younger than 21. 
  • You have a GPA of at least 2.8. 
  • You are qualified to enroll in a full-time program at a university, two- or four-year institution, or vocational/technical school. 
  • In the academic year after your selection, you will enroll and attend an approved college (verification required, since scholarship payments are paid directly to the institutions) and declare any other scholarship programs you have applied for. 
  • At least one of your parents is Hispanic or Latino.
