Objective of Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships
The primary objective of the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who want to study in Ireland. This scholarship will make their dreams come true and help them in the higher studies. A stipend of €10,000 is awarded as part of a Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship for a year of full-time study at NFQ levels 9 or 10. For the year of their scholarship, the recipients must get a complete fee remission from their host higher education institution. Successful students are expected to start their studies in September or October of 2025.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be from a country other than the UK, Switzerland, or the EU/EEA in order to be eligible for a Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship.
- In accordance with the admissions policies of the appropriate higher education institution, candidates must first apply for admission to a master’s, postgraduate diploma, or doctoral program provided by that institution.
