The Community Foundation has provided need- Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties Scholarship since 1985 to expand access to higher education and lessen the financial burden on prospective college students in our region. The Community Foundation offers more than 120 scholarships because of the kindness and foresight of our contributors. The nonprofit organization’s yearly Scholarship Program for area high school students has begun, according to the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The deadline for applications is February 3, 2025, with the opening date being December 16, 2024. Students enrolled in colleges, universities, trade schools, or vocational programs are eligible to receive awards, which have an average value of $10,000.

The Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties remains focused on topics that affect our population’s capacity to overcome obstacles and prosper. We encourage strong philanthropy to propel ideas that improve our communities in collaboration with our donors and nonprofit partners. In 2024, the Community Foundation gave more than $1.3 million in 117 need- and merit-based scholarships to students in Palm Beach and Martin County. Since 1985, the Community Foundation has awarded 3,200 scholarships totaling over $18 million to worthy students. The Scholarship Program is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

The primary objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who deserve it and want to continue their studies. This scholarship will boost their confidence and morale so that they can continue their studies without any difficulties.
