About Beijing Institute of Technology

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Beijing Institute of Technology Postgraduate Scholarship for applying to this program are given below:-

Citizenship: Candidates must hold a valid passport and be non-Chinese nationals.
Age: Depending on the program, applicants must be under a specific age: Candidates for master’s programs must be younger than 35. Candidates for the doctoral program must be under 40.
Academic history: Candidates must possess strong research skills and high grades.
Language competency: Candidates must exhibit fluency in either English or Chinese.
Candidates for programs taught in Chinese must have an HSK level 5 score of 180 or above.
Candidates must have a minimum TOEFL score of 85, an overall IELTS band of 6.0, or a Duolingo English Test score of 110 in order to be considered for English-taught programs.
Work experience: Candidates for the MBA program need to have completed an internship or equivalent work for at least a year.

Selection Process

The applicants will be selected under this program by the below procedure:-

The applicant should be able to clear all the eligibility criteria in order to get selected under this scholarship program.
The applicant should have done the graduation.

Application Process

The applicants can follow the below procedure step by step to apply under this scholarship program:-

Step 1:- Visit apply.isc.bit.edu.cn to register. Candidates for the Chinese Government Scholarship must first register at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn and provide the necessary files. (BIT’s Type: B; Agency No.: 10007)

Step 2:- Application fee and material review The CNY 600 non-refundable application fee must be paid immediately through the online application system by candidates who pass the first Material Review.

Step 3:- Thorough Interview Those who have paid the application fee will be allowed to participate in a thorough interview. The time and procedure will be communicated via email beforehand.

Step 4:- Scholarly Evaluation and Additional Reviews Candidates will be allowed to the Academic Review and subsequent reviews if they pass the Comprehensive Interview. ( Please take note: It is strongly advised that you get in touch with BIT advisors either before or during admission. You don’t have to wait for the Comprehensive interview.)

Step 5:- Pre-admission notices will be sent to applicants who pass the academic review and subsequent reviews.

Step 6:- Final Outcome (Authorized Admission) Around July, an email with the final outcome (formal admission) will be sent out.
