Financial Benefits

AKF ISP awards are designed to be half loan and half grant, with 50% of the award amount being repaid. Master’s degree scholarships are awarded for the full length of the corresponding program. Scholarships are provided to PhD students for the first two years of study; beyond that, you will need to find other means of support. Both living and tuition costs for students are covered by the grant. It does not, for instance, pay for family member’s housing expenses, clothing, furnishings, or the price of traveling abroad.
